Mathias are proud to announce they have won the contract for Uniform Supply to Serco Leisure.

 

Serco Leisure is a division of Serco Group Plc who employ 50,000 people to deliver a wide range of services across 35 countries with a turnover in excess of £2.5bn. Serco Leisure manages and operates 65 leisure facilities throughout UK, in partnership with local authorities or through bespoke leisure trust arrangements.

 

Mathias are to supply a full range of uniform to the 3,000 employees within Serco Leisure which incorporate several job roles including Receptionists, Lifeguards and Catering staff.

 

With issues from their incumbent supplier, Mathias are to provide an interim solution of a like for like garment which will enable the managers to get their staff in uniform and able to work…...and by enhancing the quality, ensure the staff feel more comfortable in work, leading to better morale and productivity. Long term we will be working with Serco Leisure to develop a uniform that portrays the image, coupled with functionality and durability for the next 5 years.

 

Mathias were recommended to Serco Leisure by another division of Serco – Serco Docklands, following a successful roll out of uniform to the staff that manage and operate the Docklands Light Railway in London. This word of mouth recommendation is a familiar practice that has allowed Mathias to grow without having a sales force in place. Ironically, Mathias were recommended to Serco Docklands by Carlisle Security who provide their On Board Security Services.
